Национальное разнообразие и экономическое развитие в регионах России

Аннотация
Рассматриваются вопросы влияния национального разнообразия на экономическое развитие, приводится подробный обзор зарубежных исследований, на основе которого формулируются тестируемые гипотезы. Этническая структура населения регионов России анализируется на основе данных переписи населения за 2002 и 2010 гг., используются индекс фракционализации, энтропия и индекс поляризации. Изучение этих характеристик показало, что, несмотря на активизацию миграционных процессов в современной России, в национальном составе населения регионов не произошло больших изменений. При этом в регионах наблюдается большое разнообразие национальных структур. Влияние национальной неоднородности на экономическое развитие оценивается с помощью регрессионного анализа. Оценивается панельная регрессия выпуска конечной продукции на труд, капитал, систему контролирующих переменных и индексы национальной неоднородности. Результаты показали: 1) отсутствие заметных изменений в национальной структуре в рассматриваемом периоде; 2) положительное влияние этнического разнообразия на экономическое развитие; 3) отсутствие статистически значимой связи между уровнем этнической поляризации и развитием.
