Calculation of automorphisms of certain Lie groups as solutions to systems of functional equations

This article proposes a method for calculating the automor\-phism group of a Lie group by solving a system of functional equations. This method is used to find automorphism groups for three matrix Lie groups. Subgroups of inner automorphisms are found. Factor groups of automorphism groups by subgroups of inner automorphisms are calcula\-ted.
