This paper presents description of single diaphragm in the rectangular waveguide in the plane of the geometric diaphragm location. Relations to define diaphragm characteristics are obtained and compared with measured data. Such diaphragm presentation allows us relatively easy to describe bandpass characteristics of single cavity or system of several connected cavities by scattered wave method. Keywords:
