Investigation of small size aircraft wing was performed. Two wing models had same airfoil, but the first model had a smooth surface and second one had a wavy surface. Significant difference between aerodynamic performances of two wing model was found. Key features of boundary layer at various angles of attack were revealed by oil-film and thermovision visualization methods. These features are a reason to aerodynamic performance difference.
