The dependences of the intensity of the photostimulated luminescence on the concentration of the activator – copper under irradiate by UV light with a wavelength of λ = 365 nm and laser light with λ = 940 nm are detected. On the base of the obtained dependences the optimal composition of the phosphor (Zn0,999-ХPb0,001CuХ)S is determined. The lead concentration was chosen arbitrarily. Keywords:
photostimulated luminescence, an activator.
