The iron-nickel alloy Inkonel-718 is taken an example to consider the material modification with the powders of refractory compositions. Under consideration are theoretical and experimental analysis of the modifiers effect on crystallization kinetics, structuring and mechanical properties of the solidified alloy. Keywords:
