The Slab Grave culture of the Bronze Age in Mongolia and Transbaikalia is linked to the period of early nomads starting to spread in the eastern parts of Central Asia. The fact of this culture forming in the steppes of Mongolia and Transbaikalia is evidently due to migrations in the region. Nevertheless, the general and multilateral solution is to take into account autochthonous as well as migration processes and their common background, the epochal change of natural climatic conditions towards getting arid, which made the population of Eurasian steppes become nomads in order to survive. Keywords: Slab Grave culture, Bronze Age, Mongolia, Transbaikalia, early nomads, migrations.
