The paper considers general features of design, experience of operation and modernization of modular type powerful CW generators for charged particles accelerators. The paper states the method of power composition for malty tube stage with different kind of tubes. The features of design and operation experience of modular type generators with domestic GU 101A and foreign TH781 tetrodes are presented.
