The following problems have formulated using Maxwell equations. These are problems of the propagation and absorption of laser radiation with respect to the modeling of processes of laser materials processing: cutting, welding, drilling metals, selective laser melting and sintering of powders. With elements of parallel computing the algorithm for numerical solution of Maxwell’s equations has been implemented in FORTRAN by Finite Difference Time Domain method (FDTD). Features of posing of a number of boundary conditions have been studied applied to the problems of laser interaction in isotropic media.
