Aims and Scope

The Siberian Journal of Philosophy is one of the leading philosophical journals in Russia established by the regional branch of the Russian Philosophical Society, and published by the Institute of the Philosophy and Law of Novosibirsk State University.

The Journal aims to foster influence of analytic tradition in philosophy – validity of judgment, sharpness of thought and rational argumentation with no exceptions on area, or style, or school of philosophy. Recent topics covered in the Journal include symbolic logic, philosophy of language, scientific realism, decision making, contemporary European philosophy, microsociology, theoretical history, philosophy of education and sociology of science as well as other topics within the more traditional areas of metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, philosophy of science, social and political philosophy, and history of philosophy.

The Journal publishes any type of the academically recognizable materials (articles, discussions, book reviews, critical notices, data reports, translations, conference information etc.). Languages of publications are Russian and/or English, in some special cases we could accept papers in German and in French as well. The Journal inspires philosophers of any age, sex, nationality, race and gender to publish their reflections and to join the discussions in order to establishing the connections among the scientists from any country and continent.
