It is established that in Hellenistic philosophy found expression of two trends: the alienation of the individual from society and political activity. The impact of the formation of the Hellenistic monarchies in the development of Greek philosophy manifested in the increase in the first trends and the weakening of the second. The most significant influence on Greek philosophy has had such a feature of the Hellenistic autocracies as the unlimited power of the monarch.Keywords: Stoics, Epicurus, skeptics, Hellenistic monarchies, politics, policy, tendency to alienate the individual from society.
