In recent years, the archaeological surveys of the Bortala River Valley have been fetching data of the topography, geomorphology, site scales and pattern of remains with hardware, and processing and integrating these data with software to make spatial analysis. The information drawn from these data can help to answer the questions such as the cultural characteristics, settlement scales and patterns and residential location selection of the archaeological remains in this area, which are the bases for the in-depth researches on the archaeological cultural features, social organization structures and social complexity of the early Bronze Age in the Bortala River Valley.
