Diachronic research of the Russian political lexicon of the 20th century

Abstract
The paper presents the results of a diachronic research of the Russian political lexicon of the 20th century based upon the Russian corpus of the Google Books using the Google Books Ngram Viewer. This tool is used to create charts of changing frequency of lexical items - words and collocations - within a given period. We found that certain lexical units have similar pattern of frequency behavior. Two graphic models of the words’ behavior and their correlation with the historical process are described.
